Metro Denver Pain Management Doctor Giancarlo Checa, M.D.
Dr. Giancarlo Checa diagnoses and treats chronic and acute pain patients with proven interventional pain management techniques. He is respected throughout the Denver medical community as an innovative pain management specialist who puts the patient first when diagnosing and treating pain.
Dr. Checa uses his fellowship level of pain management medical training combined with a holistic approach to treat patients at an effective level. Understanding the complete individual and what is driving the need for pain treatments is not always detectable in an MRI or x-ray image. After a complete evaluation Dr. Checa will move forward with medical, interventional, and multi-disciplinary pain management techniques that best suit the patient. He uses the full spectrum of methods with an emphasis on non-narcotics to help the patient return to an active lifestyle.
Dr. Checa is a member of the Greater Colorado Anesthesia group that provides anesthesia services and coverage to the majority of operating rooms in the Denver metropolitan area.
Dr. Checa enjoys hiking and skiing in the mountains of Colorado as well as traveling throughout the world to scuba dive and take in the scenery.
